To help our Filta employees not get too stressed by their workload, we give them two 15-minute breaks and a 1-hr lunch break to help them ease and breathe out that workload stress they may encounter. There are also members of our community who do the pomodoro technique, where they work for 20 minutes and take a 5-minute break, and go again for another twenty minutes to work. Some employees are compatible with this kind of practice because it helps them keep productivity and complete their tasks within the day.

 

Overcoming Isolation and Loneliness:

Working remotely can sometimes lead to feelings of isolation and loneliness. Help your team members combat these challenges with the following suggestions:

  1. Foster a sense of community: Encourage team members to engage in virtual water cooler chats, share non-work-related interests, or create social channels for casual conversation.

This is a common problem within a remote team, even if your employee is an introverted person, they may still feel lonely. To prevent them within your remote team, create community activities virtually or random informal virtual events and workshops, to keep your sanity in good shape. Remember that work stress is normal, however, too much stress because someone in your remote team has the feeling of isolation can be a bad call. This may result in lower productivity and anxiety that may worsen their well-being. Start to plan with your team and make some activities to shake off that isolation and loneliness problem!
